DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- The following documents are required to be presented upon arrival in Malaysia entry checkpoints:
- Valid passport
- Your eVISA printout
- Sufficient funds (Cash/ Travellers Cheque/Debit or Credit Cards) to cover expenses during your stay at Malaysia
- Confirmed Returned flight ticket.
- Proof of accommodation.
VALIDITY- e-VISA is valid for three months while eVISA holder is entitled to stay up to a maximum of 30 days for each visit in Malaysia.
VISA FEE : 45 USD/3400 INR (excluding service charges if applied through agents/partners)
TIPS
- There are different types of Malaysia visa for Indians. They include:
- eNTRI Visa
- E-Visa
- Transit Pass.
- Be sure to apply for a Malaysian visa at least one month before the date of arrival in Malaysia.
- E-Visa will be sent to your mentioned mail address. Make sure to take the print out of the e-Visa and carry it with you throughout your stay.
- The e-Visa is only valid for tourism purposes. If you are visiting Malaysia for any other purpose apart from tourism or business, then you need to apply in different Visa categories like Study, Work, Residence, etc.
- The eligibility criteria for different Visa varies differently.
- The processing time of a sticker Visa is 7-10 days, whereas e-Visa takes only three to five working days. Embassy may ask you for additional documents, and that may result in a delay.
- It’s not possible to get the Visa on arrival in certain circumstances. You can get the Malaysia VOA only when you are flying in from either Singapore or Thailand.
